Monero Computing Power is overly concentrated, and a certain platform has suspended XMR deposit.

On August 17, according to an official announcement, a trading platform announced that as a security precaution, it has suspended the deposit of Monero (XMR), as it detected that a single Mining Pool has gained over 50% of the total Computing Power of the network. This concentration of Computing Power may pose a potential risk to the integrity of the network.

The platform is monitoring the situation and will resume deposits after confirming safety. Transactions and withdrawals of XMR are still operating completely normally.
