TBC is a public chain based on the UTXO model of a FORK (分叉) of the original Bitcoin protocol. It continues Bitcoin's security mechanism and UTXO model, adopting the same POW consensus scheme and SHA256 mining algorithm as BTC. At the same time, it innovatively introduces Layer1 smart contract functionality at the underlying level, aiming to solve issues such as low throughput, high transaction fees, and the inability to natively deploy complex applications that exist in the Bitcoin main chain.
