The Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed company Metaplanet acquired 463 Bitcoin for 53.7 million Dollar at an average price of 115,895 Dollar per coin.

Bitcoin News: Metaplanet, a company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange, acquired 463 Bitcoins for 53.7 million Dollar at an average price of 115,895 Dollar per coin.
The total holdings have now reached 17,595 Bitcoin purchased for 1.78 billion Dollar at an average cost of 101,422 Dollar.
The company holds the seventh position globally behind MicroStrategy, Marathon Digital Holdings, and other major Bitcoin bondholders.
The recent purchase comes after the company submitted a request on Friday to raise up to 3.7 billion Dollars through preferred stock.
The CEO Simon Gjerovich emphasized the continuous growth target of Bitcoin per share on the Bitcoin standard.
Metaplanet's stock dropped by 4.7% on Monday in Japan as cryptocurrency markets showed mixed reactions to the company's buy strategy.
