On August 2, Gate announced that it has successfully obtained licenses in 23 states in the United States and officially launched the Gate US trading platform, which is now open for cryptocurrency trading services to users in licensed areas, marking Gate's further acceleration of its global compliance layout.
Previously, Gate has obtained or completed relevant regulatory registrations, license applications, authorizations, or approvals in jurisdictions such as Lithuania, Argentina, Malta, Italy, the Bahamas, Gibraltar, and Hong Kong. This year, Gate's subsidiary Gate Technology FZE has obtained a VASP license under the regulation and supervision of VARA in Dubai; last year, Gate also completed the acquisition of a licensed exchange in Japan, further expanding its global compliance network.
