Immunefi launches the Magnus platform for real-time defense against encryption hacker attacks.
[Crypto Assets] In 2025, hacker attacks in the crypto assets field have resulted in a loss of $3.1 billion, prompting Immunefi to launch a tool for real-time threat defense. Crypto assets remain a primary target for hackers, necessitating advanced threat mitigation tools. On Thursday, July 31, blockchain security company Immunefi launched the Magnus platform, aimed at real-time threat prevention. The platform will protect over $180 billion of user funds across protocols such as Arbitrum, zkSync, and Curve Finance.
According to a report, hacker attacks in the Crypto Assets sector have caused losses of $3.1 billion in 2025, highlighting the urgent need for security solutions. Magnus will utilize Codexa, an AI-based security tool that can scan and prevent threats in real-time. Codexa, as a comprehensive Blockchain vulnerability dataset, provides projects with real-time scanning and instant threat alerts.
"In an active attack, every second counts. Centralizing all security intelligence in one place is the difference between averting danger and avoiding disaster," said Mitchell Amador, CEO and founder of Immunefi. "Unlike platforms that lock you into proprietary tools, Magnus allows you to leverage top-tier monitoring providers while maintaining unified operations."
Magnus is not just about scanning for vulnerabilities in Blockchain code. It also addresses human errors, including social engineering and key leakage, which are becoming increasingly common attack methods. Therefore, the platform will integrate Fuzzland and FailSafe, consolidating smart contract monitoring and threat alerts into a unified interface.
"Security fragmentation has always been a fatal weakness for protocols trying to scale to institutional standards," said Aneirin, co-founder of FailSafe. "With Magnus, we unify cross-chain monitoring, threat detection, and policy enforcement into a single command center, allowing security teams to have real-time situational awareness and compliance-level coverage, which used to require a patchwork of various tools."
