USDC and CCTP V2 have officially launched on the Sei network.

On July 24, the native USDC and CCTP V2 were officially launched on the Sei network. Circle Mint fully supports the native USDC on Sei, providing liquidity access for institutional users through Sei's high-performance infrastructure, enabling a cross-chain stablecoin transfer experience with over 13 chains without bridges and slippage, thanks to Sei's high-performance architecture. The old version Sei USDC.n is still usable, and its users will gradually migrate to the new version of native Sei USDC. Sei is accelerating towards becoming the core infrastructure for cross-chain finance. The native USDC brings institutional-grade financial infrastructure to Sei. Unlike cross-chain bridging tokens that come with counterparty risks and usage friction, the native Sei USDC is issued directly by Circle on Sei, providing developers with the trust assurance and capital efficiency they need.
