According to Bloomberg, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the appeal request from a trading platform user, James Harper, against the IRS, refusing to hear his demand to "protect users' encryption transaction data from being forcibly disclosed." Harper questioned the IRS's request for the trading platform to provide user data as a violation of the Fourth Amendment privacy rights, which the trading platform also supported in his appeal. The court provided no explanation and directly dismissed the case, which means the IRS.
