## The charges against Donald Trump 
Although there is no formal publication of the charges laid on Donald Trump, some sources say that he is facing more than 30 charges related to business fraud. The indictment filed by the Manhattan grand jury is still under seal and will be made known to the public soon. 

As a fact, Trump has been under investigation from Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office for a long time in connection to a hush money payment involving adult film star Stormy Daniels made in 2016. 

The indictment of Trump is significant because he becomes the first ex-president of the United States to face criminal charges. However, Trump has declared that his indictment is part of political persecution perpetrated against him.
