The Canadian listed company BTCT has resumed trading and has purchased 292.80 Bitcoins.

On June 27, according to reports, the Canadian listed company Bitcoin Treasury Corporation (BTCT) will officially resume trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange's Venture Exchange (TSX Venture Exchange). This exchange is a public venture capital market for emerging companies under TSX.

The company announced on Thursday that its common stock will be freely traded on the exchange starting from June 30, with the stock code "BTCT". Currently, more than 10 million shares have been issued and are in circulation. Previously, the company had sold over 10 million shares of BTCT stock. This resumption of trading follows a brokerage issuance that raised a total of 125 million Canadian dollars (approximately 92 million US dollars).

Some of the financing proceeds were also used to purchase Bitcoin. According to the company, it purchased 292.80 BTC at a total cost of approximately 31.5 million dollars.
